Use this groover to cut safety grooves for wheelchair ramps and other non-skid areas. A popular choice for commercial and government jobs. The 6-inch long heavy-duty stainless steel blade moves smoothly through concrete driveway and sidewalks. This groover creates four 1/4-inch deep, 1/4-inch wide grooves 2-inch apart from on center. These parallel lines provide a safety tread effect on high traffic areas such as driveways, sidewalks and stairs. The 10" tool provides thorough coverage on sidewalks, driveways, and slabs. A full top-plate provides additional strength to move through the cement with ease. An electronically welded backplate provides a place for four rivets to secure the bracket base to edger. The bracket is designed to adjust 180 degrees to go back and forth. The toothed bracket tightens to set and keep a desired angle. The bracket and socket are made of cast aluminum for long-wearing use. Use with threaded bull float extension handles, sold separately. Use with a threaded bull float handle adapter.
